If you choose to add vanilla flavor to your whipping cream, you should put no more than 1 teaspoon of it for every cup of whipping cream. In case you want to prepare whipped cream to be used for a dessert which is going to stay in the fridge for a while you should use icing sugar and not regular sugar in order to ensure that the shape of your dessert's icing will not change over time. In case the whipped cream will be stored for the next day you should add stabilizer to it and remember to not keep it for longer than 3 days.
