Chop them up, and allow the raw potatoes to simmer for roughly 15 minutes in the sauce. The potatoes will soak up the excess salt. When cooking tomato-based dishes, simply add a few more tomatoes to the pot to dilute it down a bit.

Use sharp knives to prepare your favorite meals. Dull knives can actually be dangerous to use and the certainly make chopping difficult. Use a sharp knife and it will glide right through the items you wish to cut, without you having to put a great amount of force behind the blade.
